About Me

Hi, I’m Eve

I’m so glad you’re here.

This blog started the way a lot of good things do — quietly, and a little by accident. For years I treated my health as something to fix in a hurry: a crash diet before an event, a burst of exercise every January, a cabinet full of supplements I bought on impulse and forgot about a week later. None of it lasted, and most of it left me feeling worse, not better.

At some point I got tired of the all-or-nothing cycle. I started paying attention instead — reading, experimenting gently, and noticing what actually made me feel steadier day to day. What I found surprised me. The things that changed my life weren’t dramatic or expensive. They were small and unglamorous: a daily walk, a glass of water within reach, two quiet minutes of breathing before I picked up my phone, a little more kindness toward myself when I slipped.

This blog is where I share what I’m learning along the way.

What you’ll find here

I write about healthy living in the broadest sense — supplements and nutrition, mindfulness and sleep, movement, books that shaped my thinking, and the parts of wellbeing we often forget, like rest and connection. Everything here comes from my own experience. I’m not interested in perfection or extremes, and you won’t find any miracle cures. Just honest reflections on what’s worked for me, what hasn’t, and the ordinary habits that quietly hold everything else together.

My hope is that something here meets you where you are, whether you’re just starting out or simply looking for a gentler, more sustainable way to take care of yourself.

An important note

I want to be upfront: I’m not a doctor, nutritionist, or medical professional. Everything I write is personal experience and general information, not medical advice. Bodies are different, and what works for me may not work for you. Please talk to a qualified professional before making changes to your diet, supplements, or health routine — especially if you have a condition or take medication.

A little more about me

When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me [out walking / with a book and a cup of tea / in the kitchen trying a new recipe — swap in what’s true for you]. I’m still very much a work in progress, and I think that’s the whole point.

Let’s stay in touch

If something here resonates with you, I’d love to hear about it. You can reach me through my contact page, and I read every message. Thank you for spending a little of your day here — it means more than you know.

Warmly, Eve
